Winrock International, under the USAID Asia and Thailand Counter Trafficking in Persons projects, is launching Doc2Work, an application that aims to support migrants in navigating the legalization process in Thailand. This app, available in Thai, Burmese and Khmer, will guide migrants working in Thailand on how to obtain and maintain required paperwork, including visas, work permits, pink cards (temporary work permits), and Sea books for fishermen. Users will have the option to store documents in a secure space. Doc2Work also provides information on benefits, such as social security and healthcare, and emphasizes the importance of having the correct documentation. Doc2Work was created through a collaboration between Winrock International, Mars PetCare, Resonance, and Diginex Solutions to reduce vulnerability of migrant laborers to labor trafficking and exploitation.
