Conference: “Ending trafficking in children and young persons – Together, towards a future without child trafficking in Europe”

Children and young persons are targets of traffickers who use constantly-evolving tactics in increasingly diverse settings to find and exploit their victims.

The Council of Europe, in the framework of the German Presidency of the Committee of Ministers, and in conjunction with the ISF-funded Project THB Liberi, is organising a conference :“Ending trafficking in children and young persons: together, towards a future without child trafficking in Europe”.

High-level keynote speakers, experts and panellists will deliver key messages, present project results and discuss recent trends in the trafficking and exploitation of children and young persons over one-and-a-half days. Three workshops will be dedicated to discussions on:

  • the exploitation of children and young persons through the Internet
  • strengthening child and young persons’ testimonies
  • the exploitation of children and young persons by family structures.
