泰國是港人旅遊熱點，除了有熱辣辣的天氣及令人垂涎三尺的美食，還是一群尋求庇護人士和難民的棲身之所。去年暑假，羅潔玲老師偕同學生到位於泰國緬甸邊境的美索做義工，旅途上遇見來自緬甸的尋求庇護人士，細聽他們的身世故事。他們苦無身分，可隨時被拘留和遣返，因而屢遭警察和僱主等欺壓，未能享有人身自由、教育、合理勞工待遇及基本生活保障等權利。事隔一年，羅潔玲帶著滿腹疑問回到美索，發現當地販賣人口問題嚴重。
