Among the various abuses and violations that children suffer, it is indisputable that the commercial sexual exploitation of girls and boys remains a serious global problem with grave implications for the East and South-East Asia Region. Further, globalization and unregulated economic growth have resulted in growing economic disparities that have a negative impact on the wellbeing of many children in East and South-East Asia. This report highlights the manifestations of CSEC and its driving forces in East and Southeast Asia as well as gives recommendation for change and moving forward.
