Report on Demand for Sexual Services that can fuel Sexual Exploitation in the Context of Human Trafficking
This report broaches the issues of the conceptualization of demand, of the interconnections and interdependences between the actors involved in human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, of the definition of sexual exploitation, and of the shortcomings identified in the international and legal definitions of human trafficking in order to tackle sexual exploitation.
The aim of this report is to understand how human trafficking for sexual exploitation can occur within the sex industry, and to reflect upon what needs to be done in order to develop a useful tool for designing new effective policies in order to prevent human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
