On 13 June, the first conceptualizing workshop of the cluster human trafficking took place at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna in Austria. The workshop “Human Trafficking – Challenges to Europe and Asia” aimed to share information on the current challenges with regard to human trafficking in Europe and Asia. By doing so, topics for future cooperation and necessary exchange were identified. The aspects of law enforcement and legal issues were of particular concern. In addition, the role of civil society in combating human trafficking was discussed.
