Global Sex Trade and Women Trafficking in Nigeria

This paper argues that trafficking in women reflects inequality on a global scale, or the transfer of resources from depressed economies to prosperous ones, from periphery to core, from rural to urban. Further, the weakening influence of the Nigerian government in the global economy and international diplomacy has undermined its efforts in rolling back trafficking of women.
