This resource documents the testimonies of survivors of “Sinai Torture,” in which Eritrean and Sudanese victims speak of their experiences as captives of smugglers and traffickers who sought to obtain ransom for them through torture, abuse, sexual assault, and rape. Physicians for Human Rights, an Israeli human rights organizations, interviewed these people who are now asylum seekers in Israel.
