Among other objectives, this survey seeks to estimate the number of child workers (or children in employment) aged 5-17 years, and their distribution by sex, major age-groups, educational status, geographical, ecological and rural/urban spread, and also to provide current child labour indicators, estimate the prevalence of child labour and assess the nature and extent of child labour in the country.
