This is an opinion report on a case seen by the European Court of Human Rights, where a family was trafficked from Bulgaria to Italy.  The opinion sides with the applicants’ claims they were mistreated by both Bulgarian and Italian law enforcement and that their case was not given a thorough investigation.  In fact, law enforcement began investigating the applicants as potential criminals instead of victims.
