Human Trafficking and Individuals with Disabilities
The HHS National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center hosts a 90-minute webinar that will help participants:
- Investigate bias, stigmas, and risk factors that may lead to victimization of individuals with disabilities;
- Examine perspectives from researchers, service providers, and leaders to understand contributing factors to susceptibility to trafficking and discuss prevention from each of these lenses;
- Identify promising practices and service responses that address underlying issues that can put individuals with disabilities at risk.
