The situations of traffficking women from Ethiopia to Sudan: the case of Metema Route
This study is primarily aimed at exploring the experiences of women who are victims of trafficking from Ethiopia to Sudan, particularly through the Metema trafficking route. It demonstrates the way in which victims are trapped by the web of traffickers, their means of transportation, the manner of treatment throughout the trafficking process, and the forms of exploitation they face at their arrival. AN endeavor is made to highlight the human rights violations confronted by the victims of trafficking at each stage of the trafficking process.
