The article reports on the global organ trafficking in the Twenty-First Century. According to the ancient Indians, the gift of life is so precious that even the Gods cannot give it back, and the modern scientists and surgeons have found a means to make human organs be made available to the desperate ill patients. But criminals have made the altruistic means into a global criminal enterprise which have violated human rights and caused sufferings to women, men and children. The issue on organ transplantation is entangled with paradoxes and contradictions due to cultural, religious and personal purposes.
