This work undertakes to study the depth and breadth of the phenomenon of child labor, assess the progress so far made in the achievement of MDG 2 to see how the former has affected the later and make recommendations based on its findings as to the way forward. There is conscious effort to narrow the discussions down to the particular context of South-East Nigeria.
