The challenges of child adoption and the emergence of baby factories in South Eastern Nigeria

This paper is an exploratory research on the challenges of child adoption and the emergence of baby factories in South Eastern, Nigeria. The paper posits that it is the socio-cultural pressure on married couples to have children as well as the complications in the adoption process and the perceived stigma associated with adoption that gave rise to the emergence of baby factories in South Eastern Nirgeria.
